Returns and Exchanges
Items purchased at The Laughing Dog Gallery, with the exception of special orders, may be returned within seven (7) days of receipt for a full refund, less the shipping charges. Returns made after seven (7) days but before 30 days will receive a store credit. There are no returns after 30 days of purchase.
Online purchases can be exchanged within 30 days of purchase. Additional shipping charges will be incurred for the new shipment, plus the difference of the item should the new item exceed the original purchase. If the exchanged item is less than the original purchase, the difference will be credited, less the shipping charges. We cannot give credit for items that have been damaged, altered or worn. We will notify you of the status of your return by email if you have provided us with an email address.
A refund will be issued in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase within seven (7) days of our receiving the returned item in new condition. Gift recipients will receive a Gift Certificate.
To return an item, you must contact The Laughing Dog Gallery by calling us at 1-888-9-TOPDOG or emailing us at admin@TheLaughingDogGallery.com to receive instructions and a return authorization number. We can provide you with a UPS Return Service label or, for an additional charge, arrange for UPS pickup.
Repack the product in its original packing materials unless the box’s condition is not suitable for a safe return to us. You are responsible for artwork damaged in return transit. If you received a defective item or an item that you did not order, The Laughing Dog Gallery will pay the cost for return shipping.
Shipping Surcharges
Some of the items in our collection are exceptional examples of an artist’s achievement. Many are limited editions, and some are the last of closed editions. Consequently, they are not always replaceable. Special items require very special packaging and insurance. For those exquisite purchases, a shipping surcharge is applied. The surcharge is calculated in the final purchase amount so you are aware of all charges before completing your purchase. It is for your protection as well as ours that we ensure the safe arrival of exceptional pieces.
