What do we use your information for?
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

- The email address you provide for order processing, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, in addition to receiving occasional company news, updates, related product or service information, etc.
How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order.
We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction, your private information will not be kept on file for more than 60 days.
Credit card fraud is no laughing matter. The Laughing Dog Gallery takes precautions to carefully screen orders when they are made, and to prevent credit card fraud to the extent possible.
You should know that under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50 of fraudulent charges. We recommend that you ask your banking institution for their specific policy regarding credit card fraud. And in the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must also immediately notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.
What are cookies and do we use them?
Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computers hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information

Warranties and Product Warnings
Upon request, we will send you any warranties or other product information provided to us by our artists. Under certain circumstances, the materials used in artwork may be harmful to humans or animals, particularly if used in ways other than those intended by the artist. If the product information contains warnings about risks of this type, you assume all responsibility for such use. For example, not all decorative objects can be used for eating and/or drinking; some are only for display and viewing pleasure. The Laughing Dog Gallery makes no warranties in regard to the artwork nor do we prepare or provide product information beyond that provided by our artists.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our Web site, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our Web site, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.
